Weather in the mountains
A warm front will temporarily bring moister air towards the Alps.
In the north, the sky will be very cloudy with rain expected during the day along the border ridge, whilst in the south the weather will be sunny at times with no rain.

A north-westerly upper-level flow is determining the weather.
Conditions on the mountain are good, with plenty of sunshine. Clouds are drifting well above the peaks, and the cumulus clouds in the afternoon remain largely harmless.

Monday will also be fairly sunny with a few clouds. In the afternoon, the chance of showers will increase slightly in the south. In the north, the Föhn wind will continue. On Tuesday, it will remain sunny at times, with a few clouds passing through. Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine, although the chance of thunderstorms will increase slightly in the afternoon. Thursday will start off sunny, with cumulus clouds forming increasingly during the day, leading to a few thunderstorms.
