Weather in the mountains

An intermediate high makes for sunny and cool autumn weather.
Very sunny weather and good visibility in all mountain ranges. A few clouds only will appear on the alpine crest.

Mountain weather tomorrow

The intermediate high is already weakening again, but is still providing friendly weather.
Initially, the sun will shine mostly undisturbed. As the day progresses, extensive clouds will move through from the south-west over the peaks and visibility will become somewhat more diffuse.

Next evolution

Thursday will bring lots of clouds and some precipitation, mostly in the south-facing slopes. The snow line will be between 500 and 900 m. Friday will continue to be very cloudy. While cold northerly föhn winds will dry the air in the valleys, it may snow at times at higher altitudes. Saturday will also be mostly cloudy and foehn-like. Light snowfall is possible in the Dolomites. On Sunday, the weather is likely to be quite sunny and dry. In the valleys, the Föhn will subside.
