Cloud cover will continue to break up across the north, allowing sunshine to become increasingly widespread. The sunniest conditions are expected over the southern mountain ranges.

A ridge of high pressure maintains settled conditions, with a flow of dry and unseasonably mild air moving in from the southwest across the Alps.
The mountains of South Tyrol will experience abundant sunshine and notably mild conditions. During the first half of the day, a few high-level veils of cloud will drift in from the west.
