Weather in the mountains
A northerly flow will bring cold but temporarily dry air masses into the Alpine region.
To begin with, there will still be a few showers, with the snow line dropping to as low as 1500 m in places. As the day progresses, the clouds will break up and it will become quite sunny. A cold and at times strong north wind will be blowing.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A temporary high-pressure system will bring stable conditions.
The weather in the mountains of South Tyrol will be unsettled and cold. Showers, some of them heavy, will move in from the south-west and spread to all mountain ranges as the day progresses. The snow line will be between 1,200 and 1,800 m.

Friday will see generally cloudy skies with widespread showers in the afternoon. Saturday will also start off with unsettled weather. As the day progresses, a northerly wind will blow across many valleys and the showers will gradually ease off. Temperatures will remain fairly low. On Sunday, the weather will improve, with clouds clearing and sunny spells. Sunny weather is also forecast for Monday, with a few cumulus clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will rise slowly.
