The Ladurno (Ladurns) Ski Area

Relaxing holidays for the whole family in the Upper Isarco Valley

Ladurns is the ideal winter holiday destination for the whole family, providing a wide selection of winter sports and leisure facilities for both adults and children. With more than 15 km of snow-covered ski slopes at varying difficulty levels, even beginners and children can join in on the magnificent downhill runs. While the adults are engaged on the slopes, the experienced Colle Isarco Ski School instructors and ski animators in the ‘Fichti’ Children’s World accompany future champions (from 4 years), teaching them the rudiments of skiing. Even the smallest tots (as young as from two and a half years) are in safe hands. The Ladurns Ski School for Children received a GOLD award for its achievements.

The 6.5 km sleigh run is an inviting temptation for exciting group descents through the snowy woods. The start of the sleigh run is just below the upper ski lift station running down to the valley station. For those in search of absolute winter tranquillity, there’s the trail leading to the Allriss mountain pasture amidst a pristine landscape in the Upper Isarco Valley.

The Ladurns ski area in Fleres/Pflersch in the Upper Isarco Valley has repeatedly received an "excellent" rating by "Skiresort.de", the largest German website specializing in the grading of ski areas. A family vacation here in Ladurns is synonymous with outdoor recreation, sporting and leisure enjoyment.

New 10-seat gondolalift Ladurns
The new high-performance gondola lift from the cable car manufacturer LEITNER offers space for 10 people. In addition to the highest level of comfort and higher transport performance, the new stations in particular are a real eye-catcher. At the same time, the valley station will be converted with a new ski rental, ski depot, ski school office and ticket counter. In addition to the new premises, the new gondola will also have a middle station at which a ski lift for beginners and a new ski slope will be located. Together with the LEITNER 6-seater chair lift "Wastenegg" built in 2019, the new snow-making system and the new snow groomers, this is the culmination of the modernization of the ski area.

Due to the sufficient incline of the slope without stretches where the sled needs to be drawn, the 6.5 km-long Ladurns toboggan run is ideal for families. Starting from the cable car mountain station through the woods down into the valley on a fairly consistent downhill gradient, the renovated run provides exciting descents without ever reaching excessive speeds. There is also night sleighing under the full moon in the Ladurns ski area.

Toboggan hire facilities are also available at the Ladurns valley station.

Wherever your gaze may fall, there are forests, mountains and snow everywhere. Here, silence reigns supreme along Ladurns winter trails, in the sunny Fleres Valley (Pflerschtal) and in the incomparable tranquillity of the pristine landscape in the Upper Isarco Valley. An excursion to the Allriss Alpine pasture is particularly worthwhile.

The typical Tyrolean mountain shelters allow hikers to pause, refresh and regroup. Savoury South Tyrolean specialities such as speck or the aromatic Kaiserschmarrn are sure to refuel any hiker, with or without snowshoes.
