On weekends when there is a full moon you can enjoy the delights of tobogganing by the light of the moon. The cable railway will be in operation from 8:00 to 10:00pm, allowing you to enjoy as many descents as you can manage. The "Reinswalder Wiesn" toboggan run is an experience not to be missed. The run starts at 2,130, above sea level at the Pichlberg Alpine bar/restaurant and winds its way down past hillsides deep in snow to the welcoming Sunnolm restaurant (www.sunnolm.it) at the cable railway base station.
Free as a bird on slippery runners! This is a fast downhill run from the Sunnolm through a series of technically difficult curves. At the bottom you can carry on to the Reinswalder Wiesn natural snow toboggan run.
Where it’s all happening ... on one of the most beautiful toboggan runs in the South Tyrol. A fantastic family toboggan run over 4.5km in length from the Pilchberg inn to the Reinswalder Wiesn. Don’t forget to take a short pit stop at the Sunnolm restaurant on the way down to the cable railway base station. Moonlight tobogganing, natural slopes with child-friendly runs and 6-seater cable cars to take you up. Superbly equipped and ideal for children!
The varied, curvy and natural sledging trail begins right next to the cable car mountain station on the Pichlbergalm Alpine farm. After a 100 m long tunnel, more than 4.5 km of sledging fun really begins. At the halfway point of the descent, the Sunnolm mountain restaurant, located right next to the sledging trail, offers rest and refreshments. Those exhausted at the end of the sledge ride can regain their strength at the Bärnstub restaurant at the valley station. Tip: Reinswald ski rental is located at the valley station, where you can rent out everything you might want for real sledging fun, from simple sledges to fast racing sledges.
The sledging trail has an average incline of about 10–12% and the dangerous passages are secured by wooden walls. The sledging trail is groomed on a daily basis and is fully appropriate for children.
Night sledging on weekends with a full moon is an unforgettable experience. The cable car is open from 8 to 10 pm and the nearby mountain huts provide music and entertainment.
