Weather in the mountains

A south-westerly flow is bringing in moist air masses.
Overcast and becoming increasingly wet. The first showers will develop by midday and spread throughout the afternoon and evening. In some places, there may be heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.

Mountain weather tomorrow

Weak high pressure conditions.
The rain front will move eastwards during the early morning or late morning, and the weather will clear up from the west. Isolated showers are still possible along the main Alpine ridge.

Thursday will be partly to heavily cloudy. During the day there will only be localised showers, but a weather front bringing heavy rain in places is expected to arrive in the evening and overnight. On Friday, the rain will quickly ease off and it will become sunny across most areas. Saturday is likely to be quite sunny with only isolated showers. Sunday also looks set to be mainly sunny.
