Weather in the mountains
The northerly flow will persist, but increasingly mild and dry air masses will move in.
In the afternoon, there will be sunshine across much of the region, with a fairly strong north wind blowing once again.
Mountain weather tomorrow
A warm front is moving in from the north-west; the southern side of the Alps is enjoying favourable weather.
The sun is shining all day, with a few thin clouds drifting high above the peaks. The north wind is dying down and the temperature is rising sharply.
