In South Tyrol, sunshine will prevail for much of the day. During the afternoon, larger cumulus clouds will develop, giving rise to local heat thunderstorms. Some of these may be heavy in places.

Hot and unstable air masses will move to the Alps from the southwest.
Sunshine will prevail at first. Cumulus clouds will gradually develop, with isolated heat thunderstorms forming in places towards the evening.

Hot and unstable air masses will continue to influence the weather across the Alps.
Local patches of cloud will clear, leaving fairly sunny conditions. During the afternoon, larger cumulus clouds will develop, with a few heat thunderstorms possible.

Tuesday will remain mostly sunny. During the second half of the day, the risk of thunderstorms will increase again. Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine, with only isolated thunderstorms developing towards the evening. Thursday will continue very sunny and hot, with cumulus clouds generally remaining harmless. Friday will also be sunny and very hot, with midsummer conditions continuing.
