Monday starts dull and wet. Over the course of the day, a northerly föhn will dry out the air and in some areas the clouds may break up a bit. In the evening, a few more showers will move in from the north. At the same time, with gusty strengthening winds, the snow line will drop to around 1000 m.

The upper-level flow shifts to the northwest, and with a cold front, air masses of polar origin reach the Alps.
The day begins widely overcast and wet, with snowfall above roughly 1900 m. As the day progresses, the onset of a northerly föhn will bring drier intervals and brief bright spells. Toward evening, a cold front and gusty northwesterly winds will bring another round of snow showers, with the snow line dropping to around 1000 m.

Thursday is expected to bring a lot of cloud and some localised rain. The snow line will lie between 600 and 1000 m. Friday will remain mostly overcast.
