Weather in the mountains
A weak disturbance will reach the Alps with a north-westerly high-altitude current.
During the morning, cloud cover will tend to increase and in the afternoon there will be light snowfall on many mountain ranges. Overall, between 5 and 10 cm of fresh snow is expected on the border ridge, while in the southern Dolomites there will be generally no precipitation.

A weak cold front will cause unstable conditions.
Unsettled mountain weather. The sun will appear at times, but a few snow showers will also move in from the west during the day.

On Sunday, unstable conditions will persist in the north, while the sun will be more present in the south. A north wind will blow in many valleys. Snowfall on the border ridge will tend to ease off in the morning.
