Weather in the mountains
Strong northerly currents favour the presence of foehn winds in South Tyrol.
There is mostly sunny weather and good visibility on South Tyrol's mountains. Only on the main Alpine ridge and especially over the Ahrntal mountains some clouds can reduce visibility. Partly strong northerly winds.

Good conditions with lots of sunshine, mostly cloudless skies and excellent visibility.

Tuesday will be sunny with a few passing high clouds. Quite sunny weather is also expected on Wednesday. At times, the sky will be crossed by irregular cloudiness. In the valleys along the main Alpine ridge it will be windy due to northerly foehn. On Thursday, the sun will shine again with mostly clear skies. Friday will remain sunny and often cloudless. It will be noticeably milder on the mountains, with the zero degree line rising to over 2500 m.
