High cloud will clear eastwards, with widespread sunshine developing during the afternoon. Winds will ease.

The high-pressure system will already begin to weaken, while the upper-level flow turns southerly.
To begin with, a few lingering clouds may remain, particularly along the main ridge, but the sun will break through everywhere by mid-morning. The wind will ease.
